NexaMarkets ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our platform at nexamarkets.ai.
Information we collect
Account information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and an encrypted password. We do not store passwords in plain text.
Usage data: We collect information about how you use the platform, including your watchlist preferences, alert configurations, and feature usage. This helps us improve the product.
Payment information: If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number, CVV, or full payment details on our servers. We receive only a customer ID and subscription status from Stripe.
Phone number: If you opt in to SMS alerts (Elite plan), we store your phone number to deliver text message notifications via Twilio.
Analytics: We use Google Analytics to understand traffic patterns and improve the user experience. This collects anonymised usage data such as page views, session duration, and device type.

Data storage and security
Your data is stored securely using Supabase (hosted on AWS). All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. We use industry-standard security practices including row-level security policies, API key authentication, and environment variable management for all secrets.

We use the following third-party services to operate NexaMarkets:
- Supabase — Database, authentication, and real-time data
- Stripe — Payment processing
- Anthropic (Claude AI) — Sentiment analysis scoring
- Finnhub — Market news and financial data
- Resend — Email notifications
- Twilio — SMS notifications
- Vercel — Hosting and serverless functions
- Google Analytics — Anonymous usage analytics
Each of these services has its own privacy policy, and we encourage you to review them.
Data retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data from our systems within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain certain information.
Your rights
You have the right to access, update, or delete your personal information at any time from the Settings page of your dashboard. You can also delete your entire account, which will remove all associated data including your watchlist, alerts, and API keys.
Cookies
We use essential cookies for authentication (Supabase session tokens). Google Analytics may set additional cookies for anonymous usage tracking. We do not use advertising cookies or sell your data to advertisers.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of significant changes via email. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
